Who We Are

My mother was an avid gardener... you know, one of those that could shove a stick in the ground and make it grow. She could grow anything under that huge Magnolia tree in our backyard. Always caring, nurturing, and loving in everything she did.

 

I learned a lot from helping her in the garden and so my love of all things green began. During my teenage years I grew many different plants but when I bought my first orchid at K-mart I had found my favorite. I collected more and eventually started buying entire collections of orchids to divide and sell to Busch Gardens and several local collectors.

 

Fast-forward to 2017, I knew it was time to build a business on what I had learned over the years. Abundant Gardens began to miraculously come together and by February of 2018 we were ready to open. I wanted it to be as open, warm, and welcoming as possible, a space where everyone would enjoy spending time.

 

John 10:10 records the words of Jesus when He said, "I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly". More than anything I want to give people a place to see and experience that abundance...in His creation, in His peace, and in all of our lives.
